There are a great number of artists who love nature, possess a wealth of knowledge about nature and even worship nature. Artists such as these merely take in one fragment of the beauty and nobility of nature; they make no attemot to open their eyes to the sense of independence or independent spirit that lie beneath.
Grass, trees, insects and animals all battle it out day by day within nature's harsh reality. It is precisely because of this battle that they are able to survive. To know this fact is one thing, but to understand it is another entirely.
Nature only accepts organisms that are strictly necessary. She does so efficently and eliminates anything superfluous to requirements. Those that remain grow bit by bit and eventually reproduce and bear young. The qualities that we have to learn from nature are the power of concentration and staying power.
I permanently strive out to creat works that can inspire a growing number of people and continue to carry out my modest yet hard work ceaselessly, day in day out. Continuity is strength.
